St Andrew's Primary School was Ofsted Inspected in June 2017 and is a 'Good' School.
The HMI Inspector, Mrs Ruth Brock wrote that:
The Leadership Team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection.
Pupils like coming to their 'fantastic, fun' school and really enjoy spending time with their friends. Pupils are a delight.
You have raised the profile of PE in the school. Pupils, staff and governors all spoke passionately about how this has 'transformed the school'.
The majority of pupils cross the school are making good progress in reading, writing and maths. This includes those pupils who are disadvantaged or who have special educational needs or disabilities.
