Pupils in De Vere and Butler classes had great fun on Wednesday making a ‘mini-beast hotel’ under the supervision of Susan Allen from Essex Wildlife Trust. Susan was particularly impressed with the enthusiasm and behaviour of our pupils. The ‘hotel’ can be seen in the Early Years playground.
Just to let everyone know that it is all going well at Aylmerton!
Despite all the rain, they are having a great time!
Mrs Martin informed me that at 9am (Sunday Morning) they were all sitting in six layers of clothing including thermals, waterproofs and life jackets getting ready to go and see the seals! An early start!
The six mile walk along the coast may not happen this afternoon though, as the weather isn’t great. However, a much drier adventure through Cromer’s museums may be the order of the day!
Have you visited the Community Cafe?
Every Thursday 1:00 -3:00pm at the Reading Rooms, Great Yeldham.
Please ‘drop in’ for delicious cakes and a cup of tea and a chat. Everyone is welcome!
Play equipment is available for the children.

A separate letter has been distributed regarding Mrs. Anne Barney, who will be our Executive Headteacher in the Summer term. We look forward to welcoming her into our school!
Congratulations to Miss Neave who is getting married on Easter Sunday. She will return after the Easter break as Mrs. Martin. We will all be thinking of you!
Thank you to everyone who attended the Easter Fayre which raised approximately £420
All the children really enjoyed their Easter Hunt in the playground with a lot of fun finding the Golden Tickets!
Rev. Barbara lead an Easter Service in school yesterday in which Key Stage 2 children did some readings that told about the Easter story.
The Easter parade was enjoyed by all – there was a lot of dancing around the streets with the Easter Bunny!
Alison Tosh (Chair of PTA) would like to thank all members of the PTA, parents and staff for their time and kindness towards the Easter Fayre and Parade and wishes everyone a blessed and happy Easter and looks forward to more fundraising next term!
