Parenting Support

St Andrew’s works closely with Teams Around Schools, Children & Community (TASCC), Braintree.

We offer:  Monthly ‘drop-in’ support from Tina PcPartland
Monthly ‘drop-in’ for school nurse
Termly ‘Stay & Play’ sessions (TASCC) during half-term

All community and support events organised by TASCC are advertised in the weekly newsletter and the flyer’s are put in the school’s outside noticeboard.

 

Family Learning

The school works in parnerships with the Adult Learning Services (Witham) and in 2010 provided Mathematics Learning for Adults
The school works closely with parents providing training sessions 
for ERR and Phonics

Early Years Induction Programme

 

Mathematics Worshops are organised for the Early Years families, 
on entry.
Curriculum Evenings are organised, in consultation with parents e.g. Maths Worshop, SATS Worshop etc.
