Thank you for the many photos that came in over the week.  They are all now displayed in the Library for the children to enjoy.  Ms. Trappitt, Mrs. Gurney and Mr. Hart judged the competition and awarded a W.H.Smiths voucher to one winner in each class:

We thanked all entrants at the Friday Forum and gave everyone who took part a chocolate treat for their efforts (43 pupils took part!).

PTA Christmas Fayre

November 12th, 2011 | Posted by head in News | Pupil | Website - (0 Comments)
PTA CHRISTMAS FAYRE (Thursday, 1st December from 3.15pm). We will be organising a coloured Christmas Stall, again this year Each class has a different colour for which they can donate a Christmas item in that colour e.g.  red tinsel, gold chocolates.  Class Coloured Stalls are: Butler (RED), de Vere (GOLD), Constable (SILVER), Holst (GREEN), Courtauld (WHITE).  More details can be found on the PTA flyer sent out today – Friday 11th November 2011.

Butler & de Vere classes had a great day at Gearies Infants in Redbridge, on Tuesday 1st November.  We shared our Diwali learning in the afternoon and spent playtime discovering new friendships.  Gearies pupils and parents were impressed with our Diwli dance which we performed at the end of the day.  Some parents from Gearies Infant School joined us in the afternoon to answer some of the questions we had about Diwali e.g. how long does Diwali take?, what colours are used at Diwali?, what special foods do you make for Diwali?  Photographs are on the school website under our UK & Global links as well as the gallery.

Tina McPartland (Families and School Teams – FAST) will have a ‘drop-in’ session at school, on Monday 7th November at 9.00am.  Tina is happy to confidentially discuss with you any issues or concerns you may have relating to your child/family.  If you are unable to attend in school but would like to meet with Tina please let the office know and they will, with your permission, pass on your telephone number for Tina to give you a call.
