‘To Be The Best You Can Be’

Geography at St Andrew’s

At St Andrew’s we are geographers. We encourage children to develop a love for the geography of Britain and the wider world. Geography enables children to develop knowledge of where in the world they are, geographical skills and an understanding of the diverse world we live in. It helps to provoke and provide answers to questions about the natural and human aspects of the world.

How we learn

At St Andrew’s Primary School, geography is taught as two depth studies over two half terms in every class. It can also be accessed through reading and cross-curricular lessons.
